All-Conference voting for TVC east divisional awards was held last night with results to be released later. Unfortunately you can not vote for you own kids so it was up to the other coaches in our division. The tournament this upcoming weekend is 14 starters only. The first two rounds are single elimination. Also there has been some questions about varsity letters and districts. Varsity letter criteria will be listed below and district information will be sent out later this week.

I have a bad file for the varsity letter requirements. However, I can give you a brief idea until I get the file recovered.

You have to meet a requirement in two different categories.

Some of the requirements include the following

30+ team points

placing at a varsity tournament

wrestling in the varsity line up 50% of the time.

Scholar Athlete

-ineligibility for team districts, team regionals, or team states automatically disqualifies.

We had great support again on Saturday. The boys wrestled well. Obviously the season is early and we have a lot of work to do but it is exciting to see them wrestle well out of the gate.

Please help your wrestler eat correctly as it helps them in all aspects of their daily life!

Car pooling to away duals; wrestling has some different schedules due to the fact we wrestle more than one competition per night. Please get with each other and save a buck, find others to car pool with and trade dates.

4. Remember a dish of healthy foods on Saturday meets. This Saturday our home meet we will have two teams entered. I will try to get every eligible wrestler a match.
